Addi Aloya – CEO
Mr. Addi J. Aloya is a co-founder and the CEO of Envera Systems, a leader in Interactive Video Monitoring and next generation security solutions. Envera Systems is a technology-driven company that operates throughout the state of Florida, serving hundreds of customers and securing numerous sites. Addi is a veteran of the electronic security industry, having spent many years with Tyco Fire & Security (TFS) in a variety of roles. TFS is the parent company of ADT, where Addi held multiple positions, including Director of Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions, and later served as Regional Controller for Tyco’s leading Life Safety company SimplexGrinnell. Prior to Tyco, Addi served as Investment Banking Analyst at Bankers Trust and BT Alex Brown in New York. Mr. Aloya holds Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan Business School in Ann Arbor, and an MBA from the University of Florida.
Aaron Wray – CFO
Mr. Aaron Wray has been working at Envera Systems since 2008 in a variety of roles, and as CFO is responsible for all Finance, Accounting, HR and Legal. Prior to Envera, Mr. Wray spent many years in the fire and security industry as Manager of Business Development at Tyco Fire & Security, where he was responsible for negotiating numerous security transactions including manufacturing and distribution, wholesale monitoring and retail installation and service operations. He also led the transaction team that consummated an acquisition of a Shanghai security installation company paving the way for ADT’s first monitoring operation in China. Before joining Tyco, he served in a variety of corporate and public accounting roles, performing controllership, financial analysis, auditing, and tax planning. Mr. Wray holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology and is a CPA.
Nathan Charette – SVP of Operations
Mr. Nathan Charette joined Envera as Manager of Finance in 2008. In his current role as Senior Vice President of Operations, he is responsible for Installation, Project Implementation, and Service. Prior to Envera, Mr. Charette worked at Office Depot corporate headquarters, where he was responsible for the inventory accounting and controls for all retail stores and distribution centers in the US with an inventory valued in excess of $1.5 billion. Prior to joining Office Depot, he was the Accounting Manager for Brooks Eckerd Pharmacy, the fourth largest drugstore chain in the US at that time with sales of over $9.5 billion. Prior to Brooks, he was Senior Retail Analyst at Talbots Inc. and a Senior Financial Analyst at Shaw’s Supermarkets. Mr. Charette holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
Paul Goodner – SVP of Engineering
Mr. Paul Goodner joined Envera Systems in 2011 as Director of IT, where he led efforts to virtualize all production servers, as well as devising and implementing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans. Mr. Goodner has over 25 years’ experience applying leading-edge development processes and State-of-the-art technology to create innovative new products for mission-critical applications in industrial process control and electronic security industries. He has led numerous next-generation new product development efforts, including his roles at GE Security as Director of New Product Development, Principle Architect and Chief System Designer of Facility Commander, a first of its kind open system platform that integrated Access Control, Video, and Intrusion Detection from a variety of manufactures into a single cohesive User Interface. In his current role as Senior Vice President of Engineering, Mr. Goodner is leading the development of Envera’s Next Generation Central Station software application. Mr. Goodner holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
Nathan Varn – VP of Sales & Marketing
Mr. Nathan Varn is a 10+ year veteran of the security industry and is the VP of Sales & Marketing for Envera Systems. Mr. Varn started in the security industry as a sales consultant for Sonitrol of Tallahassee Inc. He later served as the General Manager of Sonitrol of Bay County, Regional Manager of the Panhandle, and subsequently General Manager of Sonitrol of Sarasota and Manatee County. Mr. Varn was a mentor at Sonitrol University on a National Level. Mr. Varn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Flagler University.
Tom Swain – VP of Sales
Mr. Tom Swain is a 20+ year veteran in the security industry, and is currently the Vice President of Sales for Envera Systems. Mr. Swain started in the security industry as a sales consultant for National Guardian, where he consistently was in the top ten in sales throughout the country. He later established a new Sonitrol franchise in Panama City, Florida where he set records for recurring revenue generation for a new territory. Mr. Swain managed this company for four years before becoming the Director of Sales for Sonitrol Southeast, where he grew sales by 50% year over year. In 2006, Mr. Swain joined Envera Systems. Mr. Swain earned an AA degree from State College of Florida and attended Florida State University before joining National Guardian in Tallahassee, Florida. Mr. Swain is certified in numerous products including megapixel cameras, network video recorders and IP access control systems. He has an unlimited low voltage electrical contracting license and qualifies Envera Systems with the State of Florida.
Greg Barrett – Director of Customer Care
Mr. Greg Barrett is a 25 year veteran of Customer Service with 10 years specific to the security industry and is the Director of Customer Care for Envera Systems. Mr. Barrett started in the security industry as a Contact Center director for EST. When GE Security purchased EST, Mr. Barrett was responsible for deploying global Contact Center best practices across all GE Security products. After GE Security, Mr. Barrett was the Director of Technical Support and Services for Johnson Control’s Global Security Solutions team. Mr. Barrett holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems from the University of South Florida.
Brian Holliday – Director of Service & IT
Mr. Brian Holliday started in the security industry as an Airman in the United States Air Force Security Police, assigned to the Strategic Air Command Security Squadron. Mr. Holliday went on to become a civilian police officer for several years before rejoining the Air National Guard in 2001. After serving through the events following 9/11, Mr. Holliday started a new career in Loss Prevention that led to working as a security contractor for Alltel Communications. In 2006, Mr. Holliday took on a new role as Head of Corporate Security for Windstream Communications, building and managing their enterprise security systems. In 2013, Mr. Holliday moved to CenturyLink Inc. as the Global Physical Security Manager. He joined Envera in 2016 as the Technical Service Manager, and he has since added the Information Technology team to his group. Mr. Holliday holds a degree in Information Technology from Keiser University and is certified in Security Management via ASIS International.
