Adding visitors #
In MyEnvera, the primary resident can decide which household members are allowed to verify visitors at the gate via phone contact.
You can also decide which household members are allowed to call Envera Resident Services and add visitors to your visitor list.
To manage these permissions:
- Go to the Account page
- select My Household
- from here, you can see which members have permission and update their settings by selecting the household member
- select if they can add visitors to your account
- click update to complete
Adding temporary visitors #
Need to add a temporary visitor for a set amount of time?
In MyEnvara, from the Add Visitor page, tap Add Guest.
Enter their first and last name, other fields are optional.
Select Visitor Type and choose Temporary.
Tap Next, then select a date range or time frame.
If the visitor arrives outside of this window, you can choose to be called for verification or entry can be denied.
Tap Save to complete.
Adding a permanent person #
Have a guest who visits often? Save time by adding them as a permanent visitor.
From the Add Visitor page, tap Add Guest.
Enter their first and last name. Email and phone are optional.
The visitor type will default to Permanent.
Tap Done, then tap Save to complete.
If your community supports QR codes, you can share access instantly via SMS or email.
Temporary company #
Need to add a temporary services company or contractor?
From the Add Visitor page, tap Add Guest.
Tap Company and enter the company name – other fields are optional.
Select Visitor Type, and choose Temporary.
Tap Next, then set a date range or time frame.
If the visitor arrives outside this window you can choose to be called for verification or entry can be denied.
Tap Save to complete.
Adding permanent company #
Have a service company or contractor who visits often? Save time by adding them as a permanent visitor.
From the Add Visitor page, select Company and enter the company name.
All other fields are optional.
The visitor type will default to Permanent.
Tap save to complete.

Editing visitor details #
Need to update visitor information in the MyEnvera App?
From the My Visitor page, search for the visitor you want to update.
Tap their name to open their details.
Here you can update name, email, phone number, or visitor type.
If your community uses QR visitor passes, you can also share them directly from this screen.
Tap Update Visitor to complete.
Adding a visitor vehicle #
If your community uses automatic license plate recognition, you can speed up entry by adding your guest’s vehicle in the MyEnvera App.
From the My Visitor page, tap the visitor’s name to open the details.
Go to Vehicles, and tap Add Vehicle.
Enter the license plate number. Other details are optional.
Tap Save Vehicle to complete.
Edit temporary visitor schedule #
Need to update a temporary visitor schedule in the MyEnvera App?
From the My Visitor page, tap on that visitor to open the details.
Navigate to Schedule and update allowed time frames and allowed days.
If the visitor arrives outside that window you can choose to be called for verification or entry can be denied.
Tap Save to complete.
Visitor Events #
Envera can automatically notify you when one of your visitors arrives at the gate.
To control these gate notifications:
- go to the Account page
- select Notifications.
- scroll to the Visitor Event section
- choose whether you’d like to receive alerts by email, text message, or push notification.
- For text and push notifications, scroll to the Device section to choose which devices will receive them.
View recent activity #
Want to quickly view all of your recent visitor activity?
From the My Visitors page tap the History icon at the bottom of the screen. Here you can see all your recent activity,
including whether visitors were granted access or denied entry.
You can also use the search option to find specific activity. This lets you review your visitor history quickly and easily.
Search visitor list #
Need to check if a visitor is already approved on your guest list?
Make sure the Visitor icon is selected at the bottom of the screen.
Tap the Search bar at the top to bring up the keyboard.
Begin typing the visitor’s name, and results will filter instantly.
Tap their name to view visit details or make changes.
Sort by recent visitor #
It’s easy to keep your visitor list organized in the MyEnvera app.
Sort your visitor list in seconds.
Tap the Filter icon next to the search bar.
Choose to sort by first name, last name, or creation date.

Remove or deny access #
Need to remove or deny a visitor or company?
From the Account page tap Manage Deny List.
Select the visitor or company you want to remove.
At the bottom of the detail screen, tap Remove.
You’ll be prompted to confirm.
Tap Delete, and the entry will be instantly removed from the system.
Remove or deny visitors #
Need to remove a visitor from your guest list?
From the My Visitors page, tap the visitor’s name to open their details.
At the bottom of the screen, tap Remove.
A pop-up will ask if you want to delete this visitor.
If you want to proceed, tap Delete.
The visitor will be removed from the MyEnvera system.
The next time they arrive, they will not be admitted without verification to the property.
Manage access, deny company access #
Need to restrict access for a company?
From the Account page, tap Manage Deny List.
At the bottom of the screen, tap Add New Entry.
Switch from Person to Company, and enter the company name.
All other fields are optional.
When complete, tap Add to Deny List.
The company will now be blocked from access
Edit company visitor #
Need to edit restricted access for a company or visitor?
From the Home screen, tap Manage Deny List.
Select the company or visitor you want to edit.
On the detail screen, update any information—whether it’s a name, a company, or other optional fields.
When you’re done, tap Update Entry at the bottom, and the information will be saved.
Sort denied list #
Need to keep your deny list organized?
- Tap the filter icon next to the search bar
This opens a sort box where you can switch between
creation date, or first and last name—whichever helps you find the entry faster.
